Sales Tax information

Within USA - All sales taxes are required to be collected by Christopher Fischer on all orders shipped to any address within the States of New York and Connecticut.

International - All items being shipped to a foreign country outside of the U.S. are subject to that country’s customs procedures, and may be assessed duty and sales tax in accordance with that country’s national laws. The customer is responsible for all local duties and taxes incurred upon entry to that country.

Shopping and Purchasing

After you place an order on-line, you will receive emails from us about your order.

Order Confirmation, which confirms we received your order and includes your order number.

International Order Verification, requesting credit card and identity verification details as required by our secure credit card banking partner to protect customers from invalid international use of their credit identity.

International Shipping Charges, confirming actual shipping and freight charges from USA to the destination country. Upon receipt of your confirmation and acceptance of these charges, only then will your order be shipped and the cost of your purchases plus shipping and freight charged to your confirmed credit card. You are also notified that all items entering a foreign country may be subject to custom’s inspection, and may be assessed duties and taxes in accordance with that country’s national laws. The customer is responsible for all local duties and taxes incurred, which are not included in our prices.

Shipping Notice, which confirms that your shipment has been sent to you and details of the shipment.

General Communication about your order, may be sent to you in the event of any difficulty in processing or fulfilling your order, of an inability to ship to the address provided, or a duplicated order. Should you receive such a notice, please call our shopping service at 1-877-LUX-YARN. A personal shopper will assist you to address any problems.

Order Cancelation

To cancel an order, please call 1-877-LUX-YARN or email customerservice@christopherfischer.com as quickly as possible.

If the order has been processed and sent, please follow our return instructions.

Payment

We accept American Express, Visa and Master Card.

In order to provide a maximum level of security for our customers and their credit identity, we reserve the right to request credit and identity verification for the credit card provided as payment.

Track your order

Once your order has been shipped, a shipping notice with a UPS tracking # will be emailed to you with a direct internet link at UPS enabling you to track your package online.

Back Order or Advanced Sales Items

If you place an order for any item that is currently unavailable, a backorder/advanced sales notice will be emailed advising you when the item will be available and when you can expect it to be shipped.

Should an item you have ordered no longer be available, a personal shopper will contact you to suggest our replacement suggestions for your consideration.

Returns / Exchange Policy

Only items bought online through the Christopher Fischer website can be returned according to these return conditions and procedure.

Any product for return or exchange must be unused and undamaged, in it’s original “as new” condition, and must have all the original tags and tickets still attached to the item as it was supplied.

Returns or exchange of full price merchandise must be made within 30 days of the purchase.

Returns or exchange of off-price on sale merchandise must be made within 14 days of the purchase. After 14 days from the date of the sale receipt, such items are no longer valid for return.

All returns and exchanges require a return authorization #, which must be obtained in advance before any return from our Customer Service on 1-877-LUX-YARN, or by email at customerservice@christopherfischer.com. Details of your sales receipt will be necessary to validate a return authorization.

All returns must be sent by UPS or FedEx and have the return authorization number identification written on the outside of the package, and a copy of your sales receipt included inside the package.

Any items returned without a valid return authorization # will not be accepted by our warehouse.

Items designated as being “ALL SALES FINAL” are not valid for return or exchange at any time.

Refunds

All refunds will only be made to the same credit card or form of payment as used for the original purchase.

A refund will be made for the cost of all items accepted as returned in original condition, plus any applicable sales tax, within 30 days of receipt of the returned items.

Shipping and gift wrapping costs will only be refunded if the return is a result of a bone fide manufacturing fault, or because of a supplier shipping error.

Items purchased at any Christopher Fischer retail store, or at any other Christopher Fischer stockist, cannot be returned to our online store.

Price Adjustments

A price adjustment will only be considered if notified within 7 days of the order being placed.

Contact customerservice@christopherfischer.com with full details of a price adjustment request. Details of your original receipt will be necessary, and any refund would be made to the original credit card and form of payment used for the purchase of the item.

Shipping

Domestic Shipping and Handling within United States:

Christopher Fischer will strive to process and ship all orders within 48 hours. Expected domestic transit times are as follows:

Each separate shipping address is considered a different order and subject to individual shipping charges for each shipping address.

Domestic Freight/Handling Fees Chart:

- AK, HI: add $5 to ground rate
- Orders are shipped on business days only, Monday thru Friday, excluding all Federal holidays.
- All shipments must be signed for upon delivery.

International Shipping and Handling:

All shipping rates quoted are for shipping within the U.S.A., but Christopher Fischer can ship your order worldwide.

A customer service associate will contact you to confirm shipping details and shipping charges to the destination country you have requested.

Upon confirmation of your agreement and acceptance of all such shipping charges, your order will then be charged and shipped.

For all international orders shipped outside of the USA and paid for with a non USA issued credit card, in order to provide the highest level of security for our customers credit protection, we reserve the right to request credit card and identity verification details which are requested by our secure credit card processor to validate all international charges.

International orders are shipped UPS International and are shipped within 7 business days after the receipt of any confirmations and details necessary from the customer.

A beautiful gift says so much more if it is beautifully wrapped, and a gift in Christopher Fischer gift packaging is something anyone would wish to receive.

This service is available at a $10 flat fee charged per gift box, and should be requested at the time of purchase.
