Cashmere Story

We Respect Nature

It all starts with our Farming Cooperatives and Herders and our Albas goats on the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, where we advocate and practice sustainable grazing to ensure the preservation of the grasslands by avoiding overgrazing, and by using rotational grazing in the Spring and Summer, and protected barn feeding in Winter.

We Care About Our Goat Buddies

Animal welfare, modern farming husbandry and breeding techniques to improve the breeding quality of our goats, and the utilization of US and EU farming regulations ensure the optimum health of the goats, as healthier goats grow better quality cashmere fiber.

We Care About Our Herders

The Cashmere Farmers and Herders have lived on the grasslands for generations, and the goats are everything to them. And as cashmere hair is a once in the year seasonable crop, we initiate and fully support the herders with Social Services and Financial Supports throughout the year until the next crop in late Spring.

We Care About Our Water

Water is a very important part of the cashmere process. It is used in washing raw fiber, dyeing cashmere tops, and for the final washing of finished garments. We are committed to green production and environmental protection, which is why we prioritize sustainable water softening processes, and advanced water purification and recycling processes to enable reuse of more than 50% of the water used in the production process. All of which preserves the environment, and ensures the quality and soft character to our cashmere yarns and garments.
