Christopher Fischer is a vertical cashmere resource, from goat farming to processing and spinning of the cashmere fiber, and then all the way through knitting, linking and finishing to a final finished cashmere garment.

Our experience extends much longer than most, for over 40 years since 1982, from our factory in Hawick in the Borders of Scotland, and from the earliest days of the cashmere industry in Inner Mongolia. Consequently, when it comes to cashmere production, we have much more experience and expertise than others.

Raw Cashmere Fiber

Working with our cashmere Farmers and Herders on the Inner Mongolia grasslands, our Albus goats produce the finest qualities of pure white, long fiber, fine micron cashmere fiber.

Dyeing Technology

Using top quality Swiss Ciba Geigy dyes, combined with the latest technology fully automatic loose fiber top dye and skein dyeing machines, this ensures the optimum and highest color saturation and quality of our yarns.
